I booked a room at the SHOW BOAT HOTEL, Atlanyic City from 7/3-7/4 with 2 QUEEN bed. Upon arrival I was told it was 1 KING. I would never have done that as I was traveling with my sister and we are both big girls 200+ lbs, in addition the 2 queen beds were the same price. I was told nothing else was available and I could get a COT. Having no choice I accepted. The Showboat is a ghost town now. Casino is closed. Most of the restaurants are closed. Minimal skeleton staff.
I tried to write a review with numerous complaints and it stated its offensive and would not post. Why am I not surprised. I Would love to speak to someone regarding the horrible customer service we had from check in to check out.will never stay here again!!
Don’t stay on rhe 21st floor if you don’t have a dog. Had a dog on the room next to mine, across hall, on the other side of my room, all barking at everything.. Ppl shouldn’t bring their dog if it can’t bw quiet.. especially in a public hotel. They did move my room without hesitation. But it very annoying that I had to move. I should have been told prior to checking in that this could be an issue. Smh
The waitress brought us our Check b4 the Food.smh. The Manager ( I think she was manager) was Very nice about it, after my friend made a complaint, and then when we asked 4 our Check the waitress was soooo busy. The manager handled it AGAIN. ( discount on check and free drinks) My Sandwich Roll was soooo Hard sheesh, I heard a waiter say they restaurant was fairly new, hmm they need to look into that hard bread or they won’t have any happy customers.
Not impressed for the price. The pillows were rediculously small. The blow-dryer didn't work and by the time maintenance came with a new one, my hair was dry and we were later for dinner. Ugggg, forgot to mention the qtip on the bathroom floor from the previous guest. Won't stay there again.
