The location is great. The room (at least the one we stayed in) was big by NYC standards. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. The new computer elevator system is my only complaint. You type in your room number and it tells which elevator you'll be taking. That system might work if you also made guests type in the number of people in the party. We had several times when the elevator arrived full. An issue that might be minimized with my suggestion. We would use this hotel again.
Nice central location . lovely modern rooms, bathrooms needs an uplift (quite aged). Staff nice and friendly .bar open time needs looking into as I asked for a drink at 1640 to be told don't open till 5pm never known this at any hotel I've stayed at before. Also WiFi should be free in rooms as a 4 star a lot of these hotels offer WiFi for free . Nothing too spectacular about the place and the touch screen elevator system was a biblical cluster eff. There were long waits for a cab and more than once it allowed the cab to overload and drop below floor level before the doors closed. Not a comfortable feeling.
I wouldn't stay again. I can't believe that staff from a 4 star hotel had the cheek to tell me that there's no where I can store my daughters birthday cake that is melting and cost me a fortune. The reception staffs response was you should of thought of that before you brought it. I was shocked! I understand that workplace health & safety does not allow for food to be stored behind desks or in their fridge, but surely being such a classy place like the Sheraton there's something that can be done. Recently stayed here as part of a large group. Location was great. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping was attentive. Staff was great to us the entire stay. We ordered pizza for a bunch of the kids one night and they let us use an area downstairs to spread out and relax. Had a slight issue with billing after my stay, but customer service promptly took care of it. Would highly recommend and would stay again my next time in the city.
Lovely hotel requested high floor we got the top floor with amazing view of Central Park x
Our Christmas stay could not have been better. We booked through AAA and were happy with the location and rooms. We booked 2 rooms for family including 5 grandchildren. We wanted adjoining rooms which we were doubtful we would get. Beth, at check in, worked with the manager to make it happen! Thank you Beth!

Currently staying here. Great location but that's about it, have had to change rooms twice because of the bathroom wasn't getting hot water.
