Your Sheraton Niagara Falls ON location needs to be educated on Platinum member benefits. This hotel was unprofessional at best from the get go. Charging $465 a night plus a whole ton of different fees and taxes totalling $110 thus $575 for one night. Hassled about getting my 4pm check out that is afforded by my status. Required talking to a manager to get 4pm checkout approved. Desk never asked if we parked (we did not have a car there) but they charged another 35 plus $7 in taxes on top of that. Have to say I had a pretty good stay. I was a little nervous to book my Groupon due to some reviews, but despite some negative reviews we had a great experience. Our room was clean & the bed was so comfy. The only downfall was there was weed (yes marijuana) in the safe in our hotel room. I thought it was pretty humorous but somebody else probably wouldn’t have, so I think when your staff cleans the rooms, please have them check the safes too lol. We visited the Sheraton as part of a visit for our 30th wedding anniversary trip. We had saved up for a couple of years and after coming down from Toronto ( 1st part of the trip) we were looking forward to seeing everything Niagara had to offer. We booked and were given a bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary. However when we got to our rooms, we had internal rooms with no window view and the room was like being in a cupboard. Have to say it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
This hotel has an amazing team. I have the honour of meeting Sarah Perkins, she looks after us so well. It was Derek's birthday. she had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our room. I would recommend this hotel to any one. Good job Sarah!
Hotel: Staff- very friendly. Room- looks like the picture except, the walls are disgusting and had water damage. Beds are comfy enough. Pool- was super crowded the first day. The Shark tank that is over advertised is empty. Second day we had the pool to our selves which was nice BUT the hot tubs are 18 and over even when there is no-one eles in the place which is obsurd and should be listed on the website to warn parents they will have to leave their children unattended to sit it the hot tub.
