I have been going to Shampoo for years. They do great work, are incredibly professional, and are in a great location. The free beer doesn't hurt either. I go to Amelia, but I'm sure the other stylists are great as well. It can be hard to find a salon you really like in the city, as there are 8 million options. But I really dig this place.
Amazing salon! Emily did my hair from a LifeBooker appointment and she did an incredible job! People always think my hair is natural when it's actually a darker shade of brown! Will never go anywhere else!
Great haircut
This place is amazing! I went on a living social deal & it was the greatest find! I have recommended countless friends to go & all are now loyal customers. In the 7 years I've been going, I continue to go to Carlos even though I have moved out of the city. This place is a gem!!
The customer service was excellent and the junior stylist was great. I decided to try it with a Lifebooker deal and I'm very glad I did. They are moving to 2nd Street and Avenue B. I am definitely going back for another cut and I think I might try a senior stylist.
I found this salon about a year ago through Lifebooker. I got my haircut there and they did a great job! I got exactly what I asked for with friendly service. I highly recommend!
Found that everything was great (though a better music selection would be appreciated). My hair looked great and the dedication put into the cut was above and beyond! Highly recommend them!
I found Shampoo Ave B almost 4 years ago after getting a deal online and I am so grateful. I leave satisfied every time. I have thick and curly hair and I recently transitioned to a short cut and the stylist worked with me and the final result was great. I get compliments even after the cut has grown out and I'm due for another. That is a testament to the kind of work they do here! I don't color my hair but I have had the chance to see the color work on other people and I am consistently impressed.
I've had too excellent cuts at Shampoo Ave B so far, the first time with Jessica and the second time with Aut and definitely plan on making this place my regular salon. I particularly liked the very professional service I received, the fact that they listened to what I wanted while giving me great advice based on my hair type.
