I found Shampoo Avenue B through a Living Social special 2 years ago. I am going in for 15th cut and color next week. Needless to say I think I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with my stylist, the salon, location, service and the cost. Oh and how FABULOUS I look too!!!

I've been going to Shampoo Avenue B for a few years. Sylyse is the best! The staff and assistants are also super nice and helpful. Ive been getting cuts/blow dry from Sylyse for years, and have recommended him to several friends who have all been very happy!
This place has been the only salon I go to since I discovered them a couple years ago. Erik cuts my hair, which is very difficult to cut, being fine, curly and frizzy, but he always acts like it's no problem at all, and he makes it look fantastic every time. Don't know how he does it. He's amazing. The salon has a comfortable, welcoming vibe and everyone there is super-friendly. This is the only salon I would personally recommend in the city.
I always leave feeling fabulous no matter who cuts my hair at Shampoo! I have been several times, each time with a new stylist and I am never disappointed. I wholeheartedly recommend giving them a try.
Shampoo Ave B is a great place - their customer service is great and appointment booking is easy both via phone and online. I've been going to Amelia for over a year - and she knows exactly how to cut and color based on a few sentences. My go to salon!
Erik always gives me a beautiful, simple haircut. The layers never look cheesy and the haircut always grows into a beautiful, natural fall. I'm never able to express exactly what I want but he always seems to know. I would recommend Erik to anybody! Also, they serve beer.
Shampoo Avenue B was the best decision I made. Erick dyed and cut my hair. It was a fabulous haircut and I got so many compliments!! He listened to what I wanted and delivered, I Would definitely not hesitate to go back and cannot wait until my next appointment!
I have been here twice now for a hair cut, and love it. I'm so glad I finally found a reliable, affordable salon in the city after 5 years of searching! Aut listens to what you want, and asks questions along the way to better understand your vision.
