I have had 3 haircuts and 3 partial highlights done at the salon. The cuts were among the best I've ever had. The highlights were also amazing. I'm a blonde and the highlights were not brassy or fake looking. I highly recommend the salon. The stylists are patient and they are also very knowledgeable.
Love this hair salon! Erick is my favorite and I trust him with my hair. Appointments have been easy and the receptionist is super sweet. I've had the BEST hair wash massage ever at this salon. I would go back for just the head massage. It was amazing. I will be back! Xo. KB

Shampoo Ave B is an excellent place to get a stylish cut! I have never been disappointed since the day I stepped foot into their salon 2 years ago. I have to admit, I have cheated once or twice and gone elsewhere for convenience and regretted it! Now that I'm living in DC, I would still plan trips to nyc around my haircuts!!! I first came in to Shampoo Avenue B on a Groupon deal, and I was super nervous because my last haircut elsewhere had been a terrible disaster - I ended up with a bob instead of the trim I came in for. I was incredibly well taken care of by Jen and the Shampoo Ave B staff, who listened to everything I said perfectly, and gave me exactly the trim and long layers I was looking for. Sylyse has been cutting and styling my hair for nearly 8 years. He's sweet, down to earth, and is a very, very talented guy. I have gotten compliments for years. I have only been to this place once, but it was a great experience. It was also very easy to book. The haircut took a long time but I was very happy with the results and the way my short (angled bob) hair has grown out. I definitely plan to return for my next haircut!
I love Shampoo Avenue B. I've gotten great highlights and a great cut from Sylyse. He's very talented and takes the time to listen to what look you're going for and gives you a few options. I also like that Sylyse also cares about the actual health of your hair and will be sure to warn you about doing anything that's too damaging, etc...
