I've been going to Shampoo Ave B for about 2 years and absolutely love their service. My hairstylist is Aut and she is AMAZING. I'm relatively conservative with my hair but occasionally like something different and she always delivers. I highly recommend this salon!
One of the best haircuts I've ever had. It was my first time at Shampoo Avenue B. Charles cut, highlighted and blew out my hair. I wasn't quite sure the color I wanted so he took his time with me going through hair color swatches until I found the right one for my skin tone. He gave me a wonderful cut which made my long hair feel very light and fluffy. He checked with me throughout to make sure I was happy. The blow out was beautiful. I'll 100% go back.
Had a haircut with Jessica and she was fantastic! She was empathetic to the story of my last botched haircut and talked me through what her process. I can't wait to check out their new space when I get my next cut!
I found out about Shampoo Avenue B from a friend of mine, who recommended Jessica. Jen has been doing my highlights for the past 3 years, since I first moved to Manhattan and I don't ever see myself going anywhere else. On the rare occasions that Jen isn't available I've had my hair done by a couple other stylists at the salon and all have done an excellent job. I always leave happy with my hair. I've had good and bad experiences here, depends on who you get. Overall very affordable however, when with my bad experience I'll will probably come back but request a different stylist.
I love Shampoo Avenue B! The entire staff is so friendly, courteous and prompt. I see Erik, on of the Senior Stylists and he always gives me a great cut that I love. I recently cut about five inches off my hair and was so nervous to do it but loved the results. He's absolutely fantastic. And the price is great. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Been going here to see Jessica exclusively since getting a Lifebooker coupon a couple of years ago. Jessica is great- she takes her time, is always authentic and gives a great cut and blowout. The shampoos have been good too- nice products and scalp massage. They have late hours and are always busy.
Really great! Cut and blowout for reasonable price, and staff did exactly what I asked. I'm an actress and it's important my hair stays the same as my headshot. They matched to a T! Luxury experience. Will go again.
