Complete waist of time. They advertise one thing but then say they don't offer insurance in that area.

I wish I could give them a ZERO!!!! The ******** service is terrible. As a former ******** I have never dealt with such incompetence. On 6/3 I got into a no fault accident filed a claim and my adjuster, her boss and the majority of the team seem to went on a company vacation. The other agency of the at fault driver was attempting to contact so one with no luck. They do not have in network shops so you have to basically do all the footwork of finding a reputable shop. Had an Auto policy with MetLife Auto Home insurance. Great Company. Was with them 38 years. In 2020 my auto insurance cost was $898 per year. Had a minor accident in 11/2020 - (two cars backing out of a parking space into the same area.) My next insurance bill for 2021 was $985 because of the accident and was calculated by Metlife. Then Farmers bought Metlife. In May of 2022 I was told by Farmers my rate would increase to $1190 because of the accident and that was the new rate I would have to pay for 3 years. Transitioned from Metlife to Farmers after buyout. Never got an invoice or email from Farmers when policy was almost overdue. Noticed that policy info was not up to date since they showed my roof was over 20 years old when in fact it was replaced within last two years. Told I would receive a discount based on new information. Submitted roof receipt documentation as requested to email provided. Received auto email reply that documents received . After months of trying to gain access to my online account, been through so many representatives, tech support always hangs up on me and the representatives when they connect the call. I am SICK and TIRED of this! Their tech support team is terrible!!! I need to speak to a supervisor! This is ridiculous, they have changed our names, removed my husband from the policy without my consent and everytime i call its a diffrent representative! Farmers is the WORST!

If I could give zero star I would to the farmer agent Karen Ed* who was extremely unprofessional when handling my claim. My car was rear-ended and pushed 15 to 20 feet until it hit the island at the center of thr road by a car insured by Farmer's Insurance. Not only that she never picked up the phone that I had to leave a message and then she would call me when it was inconvenient, the way she treated me and this claim was extremely rude. The agent handling my claim was so so so rude, he ALWAYS hung up on me and NEVER picked up my phone calls. In fact, he refused to pay for my rental car because it took longer than usual, and when its done, they didn't even send the payment to the body shop and I have pay more for my rental car waiting on them to get my car back. *************************************************************

Farmer Insurance service is terrible. I bought a rental insurance for my collage daughter through MetLife, When my daughter moved out that apartment this year, I contacted my agent to cancel this rental policy on Aug. 6. She told me she cancelled it on Aug. 6. However, I still received the renew policy email and withdraw fee email on Oct 2. I contacted my agent again. No mater what we did, the fee was still withdraw from my bank. My agent said the refund has issue on Oct 4 and it will take 7-10 days to refund. Until now, Oc... read more
