This company is very unprofessional. They took a double payment out of my account and stated they couldn't credit me my money back. They started my auto pay back up after I cancelled it. When I went through their website to cancel my insurance and also sent in a letter from my new insurance to cancel, they wouldn't cancel my insurance. They have since billed me for payment. When I called them to asked why it wasn't cancelled they stated because I did not hand write my cancellation notice. They made me hand write a statement ... read more

I was involved in an accident in February 2021, bristol west at the time was my insurance, I was not at fault so progressive took responsibility, I've been in contact with progressive and have received my claim payment portion from them, but bristol west was issued my remainder balance by progressive and has not payed out to me, everytime I call im told payment wasn't received yet but the progressive adjustments department confirmed it has, at this point my deductible has been held for 2months by bristol west. This review is for the adjustor (wooland hills office) who handled recent water damage of my house. It's been a headache to communicate with this guy from the beginning, not just between us and him, all the contractors we used haven been complaining about him. Plumber, restoration company etc. Won't pick up the phone, making up story, to name a few. Foremost Insurance aka Farmers Insurance refused to cover my home's damage floor that was cause by steam coming from a water that malfunctioned. They sent one of their own people to confirm the damage was caused by steam from the water heater, and sure enough he said it was. After talking to the insurance lady, she said they will not cover the damage because I reported the damage one month after, but told her that we didn't know the steam caused damage to the flooring unit we start to feel the flooring get warped and soft. I started a auto policy 0n 01/2021, paid the initial fee to get started with the understanding my monthly fee would be $86.00. They are very deceptive because the following month my bill was what it was suppose to be. The next months bill came and it was $131.00!!! No letter no email no phone call as to why my rate went up! Our review found on inception your automobile policy included a prior insurance discount. To maintain this discount, our guidelines require proof of prior coverage. This company is very deceptive.They have hidden fees and every month they're adding fees to your premium. There's no disclosures about anything until you cancel your policy and then they charge you even though your policy has ended and you do not renew. They're always sending threats about if you don't pay what you don't even owe, they want to send it to collections to try and effect your credit. Please do not do any business with this company under any circumstance.

I have car insurance with these guys &my car was stolen and wrecked (minor damages) and after 2 months of waiting and them initially saying they were going to fix my car now saying I'm lying about my car being stolen (because they don't want to pay for the damages ) although I have 2 detectives in 2 cities to back up my claims and I also have home and outside security footage to backup my claim they're trying to scare people off . We got in an accident with a vehicle that was the other parties fault. The other party had/has Farmers insurance. We had damage to our vehicle that needed repaired. Farmers insurance only paid for part of the repairs. In the end, after all was said and done and final payments were made by Farmers insurance, we got stuck with $770.20 balance because we choose to have Factory parts put back on the vehicle vs. after market parts like they wanted us to have. #1--Accident not our fault, but the fault of a Farmers insured party. #... read more

We had a toilet overflow in May, 2019. Donna ****** was our claims person and she was amazing! We didn't know anything about the process but she was very thorough and prompt in her responses. We still have work that needs to be completed in the tub/shower area. The contractor that Farmers recommended did the other work but failed to finish the job. Between that and the pandemic ( not being able to find a contractor, husband being high risk, my job loss) , we were unable to finish the work within the 365 days deadline. We're ... read more
