This company stole from me and have yet to pay me the money they owe me. Every week I call at least two times and it's always another story. The reps hang up on me when I ask about my refund. Worst experience I've had with an insurance company. I wish I can give them no stars. I spoke with a manager and they have yet to send me my money. I am so livid because this has been going on for three months. It's about to be February and still they are telling me 7-10 business days. I've been waiting since November.

We apologize for the consumer's experience. Records reflect that we mailed refund checks in both November and December, however, they were not received. Both checks were subsequently voided. The most recent refund was mailed via overnight delivery on 01/27/22. In the unlikely event the check was not received, we encourage her to contact Bristol West directly.

I had a policy with MetL for several years and in the past year, Farmers took over. I had a Grand Protect Policy which included coverage for my Home, Auto and Personal Liability. Back in August, I added coverage for an ATV and was quoted roughly $120 annually. The following month, I was being billed an extra $60 over what I was already paying. I am being charged $50 for canceling my auto ins 1/28th 2022. I have paid my premiums in advance via automated bill plan installment. So they already have my money! Reason for canceling is because I was being overcharged $115 for my 6 month auto policy compared to another company. Additionally new insurance policy has higher coverage. I'm on fixed income a measly $1854/month & $50 hurts when the company already has my money. An uninsured juvenile was driving a vehicle covered by Farmers when her vehicle collided with mine while my vehicle was completely stopped at a stop sign. The young lady took full responsibility for the hit at the scene and even admitted it to the responding sheriff. It took several days to hear from Farmers and was given the excuse of, "since we haven't heard from our insured to get their side of the story, we cannot start the process for the repair," so I took the initiative to take my vehicle to a local shop for a quote s... read more

Do not buy a commercial policy from Farmers. Their claims area has zero empathy, has zero interested in facts you send them, zero interest in moving quickly to minimize your damage. It is stunning how absolutely pompous and disrespectful their commercial claims adjusters are for damage that was entirely random. Do not buy a policy from them, do not do it. You will regret in ways that you can't imagine.

I'm filing a complaint hoping this problem can be permanently resolved as numerous ******** service agents have been unable to provide a solution. Both are for a homeowners policy This policy started on 12/10/2021 and has numerous discounts applied to it. On 12/26/21, the bundle discount was removed. A service rep added it back after I called. An email I just sent to Farmer's insurance: In December of 2021, I stopped Amica and initiated a policy with your agency requesting automatic payments on the ninth of every month. This was confirmed. On 01/13/2022 I received an email from your agency stating that my account was in default and that my policy would be canceled if I did not remit payment immediately. i have been trying to contact farmers insurance since metlife changed over to farmers and no one will answer the number i have been calling and holding for hours this new number and no one will pick up and i am now being billed for two renters insurances because i can get no assistance. if someone can help please call me ****** *****

They have my email associated with someone else. No idea if that person type it wrong. I've called multiple times to have my email taken off of their policy. In my request today the ******** service rep asked for MY personal info. No! All you need is to take MY email off THAT policy. They do NOT have an unsubscribe button in their email. When I called over the summer they said they needed the policy holder to approve the change. I don't know the person to ask them!!
