Farmers Insurance had an agent commit fraud against me and continued to allow this agent to keep my policy. I submitted a case with the department of insurance and they sided with me on the case and I won. Farmers allowed this agent to send one of his roof friends to my house and try and charge me $700 something dollars to put a band aid on my roof. Cannot get anyone ahold of anyone! I am just trying to contact someone to cancel my auto and renters' policy since February 16th, and I have been on hold for hours, even when calling multiple phone numbers for the company. I have emailed through the website as well as left my number for a representative to get ahold of me. I haven't been able to cancel my policy since last week. I e been waiting for over 30 minutes each time I "have to" get transferred. Because I haven't been able to wait, all this time they keep stringing you along, I got charged. Definitely do not recommend to others.

As a 42 year loyal ******** of Farmers Insurance, our loyalty to them was totally ignored the one time we counted on them to help resolve a serious accident. Two weeks before planning to open my new business in January 2017, a car rear ended me while I was stopped at a light. It totaled my car as the driver was on their cell phone not looking at the road. I cancel my farmers insurance and they still charging me for the remaining policy term . I have about four months left so they are charging me ******* I shouldn't have to pay for that
It is hard for me to express exactly how much I hate this company. I signed up with Metlife Auto through my employer and shortly after the policy was sold to Farmers. I ensure 3 cars (2 of them with the minimum coverage possible.) My new premium with Farmers rose to $6500 annually. What!!??!! The worst part is that is came out of my paycheck automatically and it took me almost a year to realize how badly I was being ripped off. This is by far the absolute worst insurance company there is. I have never had so much trouble with the smallest things as well as they are charging me for cars I do not even have insured but refuse to fix anything.
This entire company seems to be a massive fraud. 1. They first gave us quotes on home owners, autos and umbrella policies and a condo policy. 2. Magically, the auto rates went up for no apparent reason (none given) 3. Then over a month, they completely modified our home owners policy and stated that the value of the home was $500K higher(called it replacement value.. which is BS since the home is a modern home built less than 20 years ago and could not possibly be this far apart from market rate or any other criteria). 4. Please don NOT use this insurance company. I was with Met Life for 10 years and i have never had issues until now. With Farmers acquiring Met Life it has been a nightmare I received a letter from DMV stating that there was a laps in my auto insurance dated 11/21/22. My insurance was active on 12/2/22 I have an auto policy for two cars, and the policy laps for 11 days but was reported to DMV for 65. it took 3 days to speak with a supervisor after being passed ****** to multiple reps.
