I bought a Lifespan treadmill 3 years ago with a 5 year service agreement from Safeware. A month ago the treadmill stopped. I called safeware and a service tech was here within a couple of days. Claim was approved, parts were ordered, received and replaced within another week. I don't usually purchase service agreements, but I am glad I did in this case. And very pleased with the service!
Safeware denied a claim on a 3 year old leather sofa, saying the peeling leather was normal wear and tear. I was told the policy covered everything accept theft. This is clearly a defect. It’s a company like this that gives the insurance industry a bad name.

if you like spending a fortune on insurance only for them to find a loophole and avoid covering anything that happens, this company is for you! if you actually want your furniture fixed, find another company.

Absolute waste of time and money. We own pets and were told that pet and children damage was covered. This was a selling point for my heavily pregnant self while purchasing the claim plan. My dog recently shredded my couch cushions so I submitted a claim. To my surprise, the claim was denied because they saw “normal wear and tear” and deemed this as not a single incident. I put the claim in and recieved a email right away. Then next step they let me know they contacted the vendor to order replacement. I thought i was going to have to go pick it up and safeware had it delivered to my doorstep. This was the easiest and convenient claim company inhave ever dealt with.

I emailed to start a claim on a Saturday when offices were closed. I had a reply 1st thing Monday morning when opening up my email. I had to send a few more pictures and an explanation of what happened to my couch. After sending the pictures off to the claims department I received a call immediately about receiving the pictures and sending someone out to look at my couch. My claim experience specialist, Shay Thurman, has been nothing but helpful and understanding. She got in contact with me immediately after I spoke on the phone with a different representative about a claim I was trying to make. Everything was done in a timely manner on Safeware's part. My only issue is that most of the emails I receive from the company go to my junk folder, so I have had a couple issues with my reimbursement for my laptop charger as I didn't see the initial reimbursement email and the link has expired. I just wanted to write a short post about my experience with Safeware as a warranty company. A short while back we had a problem with our sofa and loveseat so we called the furniture store where we bought it and they put us in touch with Safeware. Useless!!!! Been dealing with them since August for my washer to be repaired. Waited around a month for someone to be able to come out. Only for the issue to be made worse, technician came out again and the washer still didn’t work. Safeware finally offered me a replacement for the remaining balance a whole whopping $71.50. Like I’m going to be able to replace my broken washer with such a small amount. What a joke! Don’t buy the warranty. It’s a joke. Your adjusters won’t call you back.
