Safeware offered better insurance than Microsoft for my daughter's surface pro, for 4 yrs instead of 1 or 2, for a better price. They put up with me bumbling around with lots of questions and got me my claim promptly.

Early this month my Surface pen broke and I wasn't sure whether it was covered under my Safeware's warranty for the Surface Pro 4 bundle (because from what I understood, the Surface pen was like an 'accessory'. You know how many warranties don't cover that stuff..). So I went to the store and asked the salesman and he said I could make a claim by purchasing a new pen and then claiming for reimbursement. I have filed two claims with safeware through my school for my laptop and they followed through quickly and efficiently. I had broke my screen by complete accident and they covered the entire cost of the repair. I would recommend a safeware insurance plan to any college student, or anyone, for that matter that carries a laptop around with them daily.
Reporting my claim and sending out my MacBook to a safe ware user was made easy and simple, as well as efficient. I did, however, get frustrated with the lack of communication from the server while they were working on the laptop. After calling their customer service a couple times, I gained more information about the status of my claim. All in all, my experience was great and I wouldn't hesitate to use safeware again.

My macbook's hard drive became corrupted on March 18th and I just got it back good as new! Many of my friends have been through customer service nightmares with laptop repair; repairs taking months to complete and even then causing new problems in the laptop due to shoddy repair work. I recently broke my laptop charger for my macbook pro. Purchasing a charger would have been $84, but since I had safe ware I was able to get the charger for completely free. Safe ware replied to any questions/concerns I had in a very short amount of time. They are so helpful and I definitely recommend purchasing the safe ware insurance package!
