I am completely dissatisfied with the service I have received thus far. I reported a claim for my laptop almost two weeks ago, and I still have not received approval for reimbursement. With this process, I have had mixed information from emails and staff on the phone, and I never receive a response at all unless I call myself. I purchased an extended warranty plan on a laptop through my college. In the four years I've had it, three chargers have broken and I needed major hardware repair (the kind that was sent to the manufacturer for 3 days). Safeware has reimbursed me for all repairs and replacement parts with little hassle. Definitely glad I purchased this insurance.
I purchased a Safeware Extended Service Plan for my new computer in 2014 that covers me for 3 years. In that time I have had 3 repairs that Safeware has covered the diagnostic fees and parts and labor with no deductible. Safeware has provided me the option of having it shipped to their repair center or finding a local computer repair shop that would provide an estimate of repairs for them to approve covered repairs. Had two days left on my warranty when my 13" MacBook Pro went into a constant reboot loop. Sent the computer in and they handled everything with no questions. They ended up replacing the logic board as well as some other parts that I was not expecting. My plan was a $0 deductible and not once throughout the entire process did they ask for a credit card "in case" of problems. Beyond satisfied with the service!
My son's laptop broke and luckily we purchased Safeware's warranty. Safeware was able to respond fairly quickly with options for us to proceed. Customer service was responsive and helpful thoughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Safeware.
I have an elliptical machine that I bought 2 years ago which included a Safeware extended warranty. I usually loathe dealing with third party insurance/warranty companies because trying to get reimbursement is like pulling teeth. To my surprise, though, my experience in this case was excellent. Safeware staff were extremely timely and responsive in helping me with strategizing the repair of my son’s laptop. A complex issue became managable and jointly facilitated. I am very happy with their approach to customer service and I believe this to be a valuable and cost effective policy. Of course, it's best when laptops never fail, but if/when they do, it's good to have reliable coverage!
Safeware did an excellent job taking care of our claim. When our washer was marked as unrepairable, they replaced it with a new one no hassle.
