RecommendedI purchased a Safeware warranty when I purchased my laptop from ABT Electronics. My power adapter for my MacBook Pro recently stopped working and I needed to replace ASAP so I went to Best Buy and bought one. I sent a copy of my receipt to Safeware and they responded immediately stating they would send me a check covering the costs. Great company with awesome response time!
I purchased a warranty through Safeware a little over three years ago for my MacBook Pro. Recently, my charging cord began to fray and continued to get worse and worse. I wasn't sure this would be covered by warranty, so I made a quick call and was told right away that it would be covered. From my recent experience with Safeware, I now strongly recommend Safeware to anyone who is considering buy an expensive device such as Macbook Pro. We purchased an extended warranty for a new refrigerator we purchased 3 years ago. All I saved from 3 years ago was the name Safeware. I googled it and then called to inquire about reimbursing me for a repair needed for the Refrigerator. I forgot we had the extended warranty and already paid to have it fixed but Safeware was able to find my policy and issued me a reimbursement check the day I emailed them the receipt. Terrible service, when my washer lid would not stay up they "fixed" it twice, third time told us to move it out from wall so it would not hit person dealing with it. When I called to complain informed me I had $200 dollars left on account and they would send me the money to purchase a new machine machine was $699. Would not recommend their service.
