I wanted to take a moment to thank Pam Anderson, my new Claims Adjuster, for assisting me with an issue I was having with a claim I opened back in June. I called Safeware today and was told my original Claims Adjuster was no longer with the company. I explained to Pam that I had not had any updates on my claim. I had sent 5 emails and had not received a response. She quickly looked up my claim and called the dealer. Pam is a phenomenal asset to Safeware! I was lucky to have Pam assigned to my case initially. She is easy to talk to and very patient and understanding. She also lets you know that she truly wants to help you and you know that she cares. That is so rare these days! She worked quickly and diligently to help get my claim covered. We bought a leather recliner in Dec 2019 and in early April 2020 our dog jumped up to my husband's lap, misjudged the distance and scratched the leather. This caused the color to come off, leaving a large white spot. Because it was past the one year manufacturer warranty, it fell under our extended warranty. I called Safeware the next day and submitted a claim. Due to COVID-19, a repairman could not come out until the end of June 2020. We bought a couch with a Safeware warranty - and after going through an extensive amount of paperwork and phone calls, we received a letter saying we were getting a credit to buy a new couch. We traveled 1 1/2 hours to the place we HAD to buy from due to warranty and there was a very limited selection. We picked one out and now the furniture store will not ship until they get their check from Safeware (which I understand and the furniture store is being super helpful). You are better off getting apple care rather than this insurance by safeware. My claim was thrown around like a hot potato, first to fortegra, then to a third grade repair shop. made calls and was promised a shipping label within 2 days, however received absolutely nothing in 2 weeks and counting.

Even during a strange season like the one we’re in, Covid-19, Safeware worked hard to honor my warranty. I will continue to purchase this warranty for my appliances.

I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service by Safeware. After my microwave handle fell off, I submitted a claim, which was denied because it was apparently not covered by their terms and conditions. When I asked for a copy of the terms and conditions, they sent me a policy for furniture, not appliances. I made two more requests for a copy of the terms and conditions for the policy I bought on my microwave, and to date, nobody has responded. I purchased insurance for my couch. unfortunately not long after purchasing I had a problem with my dogs and some accidents. Spoke with a lady from Software and she was very understanding and taking care of the situation. I recommed getting the insurance and I highly recommend this Company.
