Did not process my insurance cancellation, creating additional work and time. Frustrating to have process failures that do not include verification of receipt, requiring additional effort to do something basic. Also, documents sent to wrong address, even though my online account has everything correct. I had even called last year to make changes, as there was issues then too. Not sure how this company cross-checks data with other suppliers, but it isn't working.

The policy in question was mortgagee billed, and a renewal premium invoice was properly mailed to the mortgagee of record on May 1, 2023. I canceled my policy but the auto deduced my premium anyw. I called for a refund and they said the have to send a paper check that takes about 3 weeks. They can deduct your money fast enough but not reverse that charge. This stinks because they get to keep my money for 3 to 4 weeks. I'll never deal with this company again.
If I could give zero stars, I would. National General paid me for tree branch damage to my Airstream trailer with the caveat that they would pay the actual repair costs assuming their estimate, done online, was low. Their estimate was more than 2K less than actual costs. The original adjuster? Well he is no longer there. The repair work was done by an Airstream dealer. Terrible customer service they lied to customers helping prices too many fraud and forgery charging a $50 cancellation fee and taking it from the company
I don't think it is ok for them to make you put people that live with you. but don't drive your car never been in my car. On your insurance policy. My roommate has her own insurance. I have to prove she has her own to take it off mine. No her name should not have been on my policy. Only been back with yall a fee weeks. Just stealing money from people. Pretty sure not going give me back my deposit.
No stars actually. Do not buy this insurance. Claims dept do not respond or reach out on status. Been almost a month no response on claim or progress. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Very poor customer service and claims dept
National general is a joke They up your monthly payment without letting you know. You can't add roadside assistance till your payment is due for the next month. And even then, they claim they cannot add it or aren't even open accepting calls. After you have called multiple times. I'm beyond Disappointed and will be looking for a different insurance Because I have never had this problem With any other insurance. National is a crappy insurance for broke people, just plain honest. Their client crashed my car while parked and they won't pick up phone calls, talk to my body shop, or do any of the thing sthey said they would. God have mercy on you and you never have to deal with them. Their adjuster even blocked my number because I was calling daily to follow up with my case.
