I was rear ended by a distracted driver while at a stop sign waiting my turn. Unfortunately the other driver is this company. What should have been an easy fix has turned into over a month of zero communication from this company. I did nothing to deserve being hit(which had me out of work for a few day), but to add insult to injury I’ve had to spend all this time trying to get things settled with this sad excuse for a company. They dropped our home insurance policy because i own an old car and its in my backyard, cause they said it could be a hazard if someone trespassed on our property and broke into the car.... no different than the car in the front yard.. stupid and absolutely most ridiculous thing i've ever heard in my life. I've owned that car for years, and never had any issues with a stupid insurance company like i have with Encompass. Just a bunch of clowns and fools running that circus. The worst insurance company I is in my life. I finally end up cancelling after they renewed me and charged me 80 dollars more a month. The new payment and renewal hit on the first so I called the 5th to cancel. I waited for a refund but apparently they charged 180 dollars cancellation fee. I never heard of an insurance company doing this and on top of that this was a renewal I never agreed too.

For our claim, they based the value on the wrong city, the wrong address, and an apartment building instead of a house. Then took 2 months to acknowledge our questions, and never responded them. Horrible customer experience. They shouldn't be in the business of home insurance, unless for brand new houses.

My daughter was in a car accident on 6/16/2023. My agent Will act just like he don’t what’s going on with the claim. Starla J**** refuse to answer the phone calls or return phone calls. We wasn’t offered a rental. Or nothing. The total loss picked her car up two weeks ago. I haven’t yet heard from any of these people. One adjuster I spoke with knowing she was adjuster she act if though she never heard of my story. I never in my life dealt with such. My parked car was hit, filed a claim. It has been 3 months and nothing has been done, I have called them since May almost every day and nothing has been done. I can't get them to send me the docu sign. They sent an email with several different codes, could not get in the email. I asked them to mail the forms, still have not received. I am so upset and tired of calling them to no avail. I don't know what else to do.

I cancelled my policy ahead of time. Was told I didn’t owe anything. Wasn’t told about a cancellation fee or anything. Terrible.

One star only because i have to. I am not a customer of this insurance company and am so thankful for that. I got into an accident on 6/10/23 it took 2 weeks for the claims adjuster to let me know that my car was totaled (which i already knew) and that i was being transferred to the total loss department. And since she took over my case she doesn't call me back wont answer my emails. They told me what they would give me for my Jeep on 7/5/23 and was told i had to return my rental on 7/8/23. I changed Insurance from National General to Allstate, much cheaper. National General still took out my $1548 premium on 7/5/23. When I complained because I didn't owe that and had cancelled them, they said my refund would be in my account within 7 days, It's been 2 weeks. Now they say they have to issue a check. I still have not received my money and I need it. They have lied and continue to hold my money. ****
