I paid my six month premium and didn't think anything of it. Five months later I get a text saying I could pay my $21 premium through text and I thought, ok, will set up next month... They cancelled my premium at five months, after I paid the full six months and my policy verification form says it ends October 17, 2021. Still, I received a letter today stating my policy was rendered cancelled on September 17, 2021 due to failure to pay premium. I had full coverage insurance on my 2015 Dodge Dart with safe Auto for several years. My son wrecked my car and totaled it out in March of 2021 safe Auto offered me $2,100 under the value of the car as diminished value payoff. I had to pay for an outside appraiser invoke my appraisal clause safe Auto paid for an outside appraiser they reach an agreement and found the total value of my car at $9,100 it has taken them 6 months to pay me this is entirely too long. My husband was in an accident about a week ago it was totally his fault!! Air bags deployed and now I am being told that they are going to total my car when the air bags can be replaced. They never even told us when they were picking up our car so now I have to drive almost 2 hours to get our stuff out of car!!

I filed a claim with this company after my vehicle was totaled out it’s been 4 weeks since I talked to someone they sent a tow truck to get my car last week , been without my vehicle for over 4 weeks I call and call claims adjuster and he doesn’t call back or respond to calls emails or voicemails, I need help on what I can do I was never offered a rental or anything just told me how much my vehicle is worth and I’m still paying my note outta pocket they gotta be the worst, what lawyers can I call

Decent rates, but never try to use them. Nor try to call them. Their agents keep you on hold when they cannot answer the question, wont transfer you to a manager, then hangs up. They must train them to do this, because a lot of them do that. If you happen to need the insurance, the next cycle they will really increase the price. I am looking around for a new company now!!

No stars!!!! Safe Auto is a scam insurance company I have been a loyal customer for years made all my payments on time and have never filed a claim. I was involved in a hit and run in my new car and they are trying to say I didnt have coverage which is 100% false I legally have to have full coverage which I do and have paid for!!! Denying my claim is such shady business I'm at a loss for words!! Didnt know companies did business this way!! I have been a long time customer with Safe Auto as a car insurance customer. Recently, i have noticed that i cannot pay my insurance online. The webpage constantly reloads and doesn't matter if i try on a desktop, laptop, my phone, or at work. This is also over multiple browsers as well. They keep adding "features" to the website to make it look nice, but the functionality of the website is near 0. Doesn't recognize my email address as the one linked to my account. I started auto insurance with Safe Auto on 4/2/2021 to cover my vehicle by phone after receiving a coverage quote online. This online quote contained information about my vehicle and personal information. Once on the phone I was asked the same information again, so I repeated all the information that was on the quote. Stay away from safeauto ,expensive ,and horrible customer service, Will not help you and give you the run around if in a accident . Do not buy insurance from safeauto you will regret it.
