This is the dumbest insurance company I've ever dealt with. I have a claim right now and I'm constantly having to call and so is the body shop that has my car. It's gonna cost 75% of the cars value to fix and they literally paid $18??? to fix it but left $2600 off the estimate for the most important part to fix it. You call your adjuster and he says he sent the check out nothing else he can help you with or pushes your call to voicemail that tells you not to call back or leave a message. The worse mistake I have made in long time was taking the cheaper route for car insurance. If I could give 0 stars I would. The agents and adjusters that work for this company are not knowledgeable and are rude!

We reported a loss on 2/21/22 (with ENCOMPASS, part of NG ins.). We had a sewer slab leak in our laundry room. An adjuster contacted me immediately and I sent him my plumbers report. 2/25 they sent their own leak detection out who said "yup, sewer slab leak right where they said." I had to call my adjuster and then my agent because adjuster wouldn't answer (for next steps) 3/7 an outside adjuster came to do her report, I was told "a week for more info." I called and emailed my adjuster..nothing. Finally went to my agent agai... read more

Worst experience of my life they quoted me 180 which they changed to 285 and then I cancel and they want to charge me a 8 dollar cancel fee when I ask them why my bill went up so much they said it was due to claims on my account which there was none I had my moms car battery jumped like three times that was it they r the worst I have ever experienced

I was involved in an accident on April 16th, 2022. The driver whom hit us ran a red light. She had National General insurance. There where multiple witnesses and even a police report. I was driving my family's vehicle with my children and wife inside the vehicle. After the incident, our vehicle had to be towed. this company is a piece of crap.first time working with them and i regret every second they need to give me my money back from when i opened a policy with them..they rip you off and try to judge you..* this company

If I could give this company negative stars I would. I am currently trying to get an explanation of cancelation charges they are adding to my balance. I am not disputing the cancelation charge but however have to keep asking for an explanation on extra installment charges for months I have already paid for and a down payment charge. I have tried numerous times to get an answer from the company who pushes to the agent in my area. The agent has no idea since they are not making the charges the company is. Bad customer service they ignored attorneys calls and emails had to be turned into the insurance commissioner also paid less then half of repair shops estimate for vehicle damage

The world of insurance is not my field. A satisfactory conclusion of an event that required insurance support was needed. A National General Insurance policyholder, unfortunately, backed into my car.
