I cancelled my policy and had paid my premium 5 days before. I was due a refund which I had to ask for. They said they could not credit my checking account which was auto paid each month. They promised it would be a check in the mail in 7-10 business days. I called them several times and their automated system tried to trick me by identifying that I had cancelled my policy. Very bad company to fo business with. Would give them a negative rating if I could. Canceled my policy after only 3 weeks. They are now billing me over $500 for early cancelation! Agents are rude. Very unprofessional

I bought a brand new camper and was sold an $800 RV policy at ****** *****. This was under the guise of being "competitive.". I contacted my auto insurance company *********** and I got a $210 a year quote with better coverage. National General are shady as they come. Stay away from them.

These people are absolute thieves. Would give 0/5 stars if it was possible. They will push you into contract lengths you don’t need or want and then charge EXORBINANT amounts of money for cancelling before your end date (even though they didn’t give you a choice). They’ll do anything they can to scrape every last dime away from you. People deserve better, please spare yourself the awful ethics and go somewhere else.

This company needs to be investigated immediately. As the 100's of reviews before mine, one of their clients rear ended me in the beginning of Jan, it is now the end of March and they have done NOTHING to fix the issue at hand. They do not return calls, emails, or messages through their "My claims 360 app". My fiancé was involved in an accident that was not her fault. She sustained injuries and is going through cancer treatment and the stress of both the accident and the unprofessional and delay from National has made it worse. I have tried to get help from the adjuster but he is both condensing ( saying he doesn’t have time to repeat the information) and he falsely stated that I did not send photos of my damage. Absolutely horrible company. I never had to file a claim luckily, but after almost a year with them, they inexplicably raised my premium by $20 a month when my policy was set to renew, with no accidents and no moving violations, tickets, nothing. So I canceled my policy before my policy was due to renew, got a new insurance company, thought everything would be fine. One of their clients rear ended me and they’ve been giving me the run around ever since in regards to getting a rental. First their adjuster lied about sending out the check. Then he lied and said “once the parts are ordered at the shop, we could give you a rental or loss of use stipend”.
