My wife had a minor accident 6 days ago. The person she collided with was completely at fault. We have a police report and a video. The accident was reported an hour after it occurred. My insurance company contacted me the next day but we haven't heard a word from Safe Auto yet despite leaving them 2 messages. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because it would not let me give them 0. This is the absolute WORST company I have ever dealt with! I was hit on 6/20/2020 by a driver that was insured by Safe Auto. As of today, I still do not have a check from them, nor has my car been repaired. This is not due to lack of effort on my part. the best. I’ve had this car insurance for a number of years the customer service is great they really work for you
They lied to me more than once it was all recorded and still refused to honor the information. All you get is that the recording will be reviewed. Was told one price and then told another after I called in to let them know that my name was spelled wrong and they was charging me twice in one month. Then was told a different price. I asked many times for the phone call to be reviewed and was told it would be but never resolved the issues.
Website payment never works, always says info invalid every month!
First off insurance is the biggest rip off. I have had insurance for 20 years NEVER used it, no accident, nothing. Now, they are saying my payment bounced for 2 months, which didn't. They are trying to add an extra $100 on my bill and trying to take money out on additional dates than when I paid.
Safe Auto is greedy. I lost my job cuz of coronavirus ask for a four-day extension they told me they could not do it that I had to make a partial payment knowing that I had no job.
I mailed my payment in plenty of time to be received. I mailed on 1/27/2020 due on 2/3/2020. They changed mailing addresses. I had put the former address not knowing. To this day(2/9/2020) they say they have not received it and have cancelled my insurance. I could not pay online due to the outrageous fee of $6 that is why mailed it. I have plenty of places I pay online and the most is less than $2. I cannot afford those outrageous fees so mail was my only option.
