This is the worst car insurance company of all time. I was in a car wreck four weeks ago with an uninsured motorist. I was sent to the hospital. I had some injuries. I filed the claim that very day. Four weeks ago. I faxed them the police report TWO days after the wreck. A week out from my wreck, the tow company called to tell me that the appraiser had came by days before (2 business days after my wreck). The appraiser never had called me. I had got my mirror knocked off my car by someone with this insurance so I had to go thru them to get my car fixed and it was the worst experience I have ever had with an insurance company. Every time that I called in to ask questions about my claim I spoke with ****** She was incredibly unhelpful every time I asked a question she either told me she doesn't know or did not give me correct information. Horrible company. My rate changes every month never the same Never got insurance cards or paper work on the mail. Always have to rest my passwrd for some odd reason the only thing I can view online is when a payment is due I'm tired of calling them and dealing with them

I signed up with safe auto online and paid $300 down as my deposit . Two days later i get a email from safe auto that stated my policy had been cancelled. my policy was canceled due to too many driving points on my record . They only accept up to 14 driving points in order to be insured with them . So instantly once they ran my driving record , they cancelled it . The customer service representative insured me that the policy was canceled as of that day . He also assured me that i would be getting my full refund back within ... read more

I had to leave a star they lie about their policy and due dates cancel you before the due date and charge you more to reinstate you. Then instead of trying to make things right they argue with you saying that the due date is days before and not send you any notice. Not recommended for anyone that would like to keep their money.

Safe Auto claims adjusters are extremely unprofessional, to include lack of follow-up, lack of follow through, non-responsive and poor customer service. In an unfortunate and unexplained circumstance there was major damage done to passenger back window and it was shattered. I filed the claim on 2/23/19. On 2/25/19 I had to call the assigned adjuster to follow up on the claim as it had already been 2 days. She reviewed the claim and said she would call me back. Safe Auto Insurance is known for it's low rate insurance. That's because the customer service is also very low rate. I was involved in a hit/skip accident on Dec 13, 2018. Today is Jan 25, 2019. I have called & spoke to SEVERAL associates at Safe Auto. All seem helpful and full of promises that I will receive a call back & an insurance adjuster will be out to assess the damages.
