I was in a collision and my car was towed from the scene. I have national general through Jerry's, first off they had to switch adjusters because the one was impossible to get in touch with. Then a man named Lucas was assigned to me and I told him I wanted my car in a shop that can get me in the fastest. He told me ****** Chevrolet was the fastest. My car was supposedly “totaled” 20 days ago (on 5/20/2022) . The appraiser took 2 full weeks to inspect my vehicle (on 6/3/2022) after me calling multiple times! I have “full coverage” and the accident was NOT my fault ( my vehicle was parked & i wasn’t in it ) but was told a rental would not be covered nor would i be able to receive “loss of use” because “limitation issues” . i wish i can give them a negative star. they have cost me so much money and time and they will not take my calls anymore. how can we let health brokers do this to people? we need more protection for customers to make sure they get what they pay for . I got health insurance from Sebastian m***** with Health care solutions team and they sold me a plan that I cannot use in my city. They refuse to take responsibility for it . They will sell you insurance that you can not use or that will cost you lots of money.

ABSOLUTELY TRASH! Took 3 months to close a claim and 3 months later, I still don't have my title! Have called and left messaged, sent emails, and nothing! Customer service is garbage and so is the company!! Beware before you give them your money!

I was involved in an accident in a parking garage. My car was parked and I was not in the car. The person who hit my car was nice enough to call the police and file an accident report with the police. After I initially filed a claim with National General Insurance. They will not answer my calls or reply to my voicemails or emails. I have questions that need to be answered about rental cars and expenses. They just went dark.

I was rear ended by a national general customer. Their claims department takes their time to do anything and everything regardless how many times you email them. First Repair shop was done waiting for them to respond to them and done waiting for adjustors. Had the vehicle towed to another repair shop. That repair shop sent in supplement and pictures. Now wait for adjustors again. They stopped paying for rental. And now don’t have a vehicle. Still waiting for their adjustors over 30 days now.

I was with this company for several years, but I had started getting notifications that documents had not been received. Even after they had been emailed to reps., causing increases in my installments. So we decided that it was time to move on. Got coverage from another insurer, then requested to cancel effective new policy date. Guess what, they did not get it!!! When i asked Stephanie from costumer service, If i am not able to get a new car, when can i cancel my car insurance? She told me within 60 days. It does not say that on the contract. I ended up not getting a car with ******. However, in order to do a 24 drive test with ****** you need to show them a car insurance, so i got with national general. Garbage insurance. I hit a deer over a week ago, they still haven’t even sent an appraiser out yet and they only cover $30/day for a rental. I’m so angry right now this is absolutely unacceptable. ITS BEEN 9 DAYS AND I HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING YET. I just want my car back or if it’s totaled I’d like to go get a new car. I’m switching insurance as soon as this is over with. Everyone I’ve talked to about this says they’ve never had to wait this long after an accident to learn if their car is totaled or not this is insane.
