If I could give a negative one million I would. This insurance was way to expensive for what they offer. Everytime I had to call I got transfered to 10 different people. Today I called to cancel my policy, even though my bill wasn't due they still charged me $115 to cancel and made me call my husband so they could get his permission to cancel...I am the main policy holder. Wow, I see a pattern here! My comments are the same as all of the rest below… In a nutshell the worst insurance provider I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with! One of their customers caused an accident I am now waiting 4 months for a callback on reimbursement! I raise this to the manager director and even the Vice President for the west, Scott C**** to no avail!
Absolutely terrible all the way around would not recommend to anyone period
On March 23rd of this year, a man insured with this company lost control of his vehicle and careened across the front of my yard taking out a large section of a retaining wall that I assumed was mine. Over the next 4 months I called continually to reach someone, including the person in charge of the claim to no avail. I cant give less than a 1 or I would...so, I was late on my insurance payment.. I paid 50.00 before it was due but it was 134.00 or supposed to be. I called freaking out because I didn't have the money to cover.. the man told me to calm down and what they do for their customers us give them 30 days before reporting lapse.. this was July 7th.. so he told me to pay 129.00 more and on the 24th 149.00..so on the 14th I paid the 129.00..so I should've been covered because that's what he said coverage will be active once I paid..w... read more

I noticed that the VIN was incorrect on my insurance bill and I called and told them. They changed it and my insurance dropped a few hundred dollars. Then I was told by the Agent I would receive a refund for the month my truck was not insured. I did not receive my confirmation email so I called back and she said the email was incorrect. I wouldn’t give direct auto a star they are horrible reaching out to u when u get in a accident they don’t help u or help u pay for rental or nothing the claims department don’t call u back ignore your phone calls don’t go with them but want to raise your rates in a heartbeat after u get in a accident the supervisor don’t even call back will have my lawyer look into this they should be shut down
Horrible customer service..they just added 3 different policies on My auto policy without my consent..then I confront them about it and I had to pay cancelation fees for policies I never asked for to start with...
One of their clients hit my car and they completely gave me a lowball estimate that was $3500 less than what it’s actually going to cost to repair. They refuse to approve the cost and have told me that is their estimate and that is what they will have pay. I can’t seem to get the adjuster to return my phone calls and I’ve had sent an email with the same reply from him stating that is their estimate and that is what they’re paying.
