I never can get in touch with my adjuster. They are giving me manger numbers that go straight to voicemail

Have the short term medical plan. Had a colonoscopy done and they claim that having constipation is a pre existing condition for hemeroids (that was diagnosed) so they will not pay. AVOID! Only care about the shareholders not you!!!

They would get a NEGATIVE 5 if it was possible. I had a my vehicle be totaled in an accident. It was my first time dealing with something like this. So I asked every question possible so that I would know how long I would have a rental versus how long to find another vehicle...and so on. I was told that once the paperwork was done I then would have three days to return the rental. That was FALSE! Once I was verbally told how much my settlement for my vehicle was they started the clock for the rental. I had to return the rent... read more

I had a non-owner liability insurance (Policy#**********) from 07/27 and cancelled it on 09/14/2022. Made my last payment on 08/29. I would expect the per day insurance to be calculated from 08/30 but instead they calculated it from 07/27 and billed me a hefty outstanding of $293.93. The longer you are with them, the more you need pay on cancellation. This looks highly unfair to me. Very unprofessional and nasty insurance company to deal with.

Doesn’t deserve one star! My name is ***** and I am a client of National General. My parents pay my monthly premiums to have insurance with this sham company. I was in a fender bender with another driver, not my fault. I was interviewed for a statement and I’m the recording for which I have a copy of as my parents have, I clearly stated I did not work for Uber at the time of the incident and that I used to work for Uber when I owned a newer car. CONSUMERS BEWARE. I desperately wish that I could give zero stars. TWO MONTHS in a row I have logged in and paid the amount listed on their site, and EACH month I get a text 2 weeks later that my insurance had been cancelled A WEEK EARLIER due to non-payment. I call and sit on hold for 20-30 minutes each time (ya know, during all the free time I have with a 70+ hour work week and family) and end up having to speak to the escalation department, who apologizes profusely and reinstates the policy - she then says she will monito... read more

My husband, my son and I were involved in a car accident. The young woman who wrecked our car was driving with a suspended license and she showed the police an Insurance that had also been canceled. Our car was towed to Ward Towing. Our National General insurance never went to assess the damage to the car. We had to go pay about 1000 dollars for a tow truck and the days he had been there, because the expense kept increasing and they have not taken responsibility for covering us. I would not give them a 1 star. We are fighting to have our bike paid for it has a cracked framed but they want to total bike. Still waiting 2 weeks later. They refuse to pay any medical. Even tho we have full coverage. Not sure why we by insurance i guess to have tags. If you have a motor cycule dont by national general. Read all of your policy.

I had to call national general insurance company and the person was very rude couldn't explain to me why I had extra $44 on my account I had to pay I told him I wanted to cancel my policy he said okay he did not care that I was upset over this extra money cuz I always pay 6 months at a time so instead of losing what I already had I paid the stupid $44 which was extra my payment goes up every 6 months every time I pay it it goes up it goes higher and higher and higher I will not just anybody she get insurance from this place ... read more
