They are the worst insurance company of ever dealt with. I was trying to become a new customer with them, I gave them my specific date to draft payments from my account and they took the money out ahead of time! Now that I don’t want there services they say they can’t put the funds back my account. They have to send a check. It takes 5 days after you call for them to submit the refund and 7 days for them to actually put it in the mail! That’s poor business!

Poor business practice that would not work anywhere else. Their client his us and another lady 6 mos ago, totaling our vehicle. For us, NOTHING has been resolved and the conversation with National General is useless as they speak in generalities and are always "waiting" on some other information to appear for them to make their final decision. Hahaha NGIC aka All-State Co. sucks sucks. Good luck if you have a claim. Jemarion B*** answer his phone nor email, his supervisor Britney D******* is not much better. I had to get with my adjusters manager Britney. She knew she was leaving to go on vacation. But didn’t say anything about handling this in a professional way nor in an efficient time frame. She sucks too. Again. Good luck. No one answers. So basically you have to be a KAREN! And *****.

Canceled my policy for no reason and absolutely DID NOT NOTIFY me they accepted my payment leaving me to believe I had auto coverage UNTIL I got pulled over by police and the police told me that I had no insurance for six weeks prior which had left me in a very dangerous situation since the police officer informed me that I could receive a 1,000$ fine and up to 1 year in jail!! On 9/30/22 I purchased a policy where the system let me add comprehensive and collision to the policy. When I received my documents, it was not added and they informed me it was because Miami was in the zone where it could not be added because of the weather. Other companies wouldn’t let you proceed with purchase at all + had notices about the moratorium on their site, Direct Auto did not. I had to jump through hoops to get the policy canceled. I wasnt allowed a supervisor several times to confirm, this is being processed. MIsinformation by telephone reps, Unprofessional refund policy. OUT right lying about time to process refunds. Service paid for, were not honored. Complaint filed with BBB. "I canceled my insurance policy before the renewal due to the rate increases. I was told on 9/15/2022, I would receive my policy refund in 15 days. NOT 15 Business days. Today on day 21 I still not have a refund. While we understand the Insured’s concerns, our file indicates that the Personal Auto Policy was cancelled at the Insured’s request, and the refund was held in accordance Company policy to ensure good funds. The refund in question has since been released and mailed.

I wish I could leave 0 stars! This company is absolutely WORTHLESS. My car was hit back in mid May of 2022 and it is currently October 2022, and I still do not have my car. Due to this company REFUSING to pay the full repair costs given at the body shop, I am now stuck without my car unless I pay $1,062 out of my own pocket! $1,062! Horrible- unresponsive and does not process claims in timely manner. Never once heard from assigned rep lean or Bobby-only total loss specialist Mary S****** who also stopped communication. Still waiting on vehicle to be paid off so I can proceed with purchasing a new one I am out time and money due to their slow, non existent communication and follow up.
