When most guys retire, they decide to take it easy, maybe play a little golf or something. Not Russ Salvatore—he built a contemporary restaurant and luxury hotel to run in his retirement. Salvatore, who has been in the restaurant business over 40 years, founded Salvatore's Italian Gardens and Salvatore's Grand Hotel, which he operated until his retirement. Small intimate wedding dinner for 65 was outstanding. Dinner and service were excellent...could not have chosen a better place for my son's wedding dinner!
Six of us visited on 4/22 for my birthday. Everything was outstanding. Our server was so nice and personable without being intrusive. He gave great recommendations for food and drinks. The lobster tail was prepared perfectly. Everyone enjoyed every part of their meal. Can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I were gifted a night stay and dinner for two for our anniversary. At check in we were told that our waiter would be told it was our anniversary, and said that we would be "taken care of", implying that we would have a special treat or something along those lines at dinner. Our dinner was beyond delicious, and we enjoyed every second it...but there no mention of our anniversary from our waiter, nor was there any special treat. Hi Russell - we visited the night Seinfeld performed at Shea's and we were both impressed with how delicious the steaks were and atmosphere you provided. I loved the homemade steak sauce. We will definitely return soon.

My 1 st. anniversary was the best thanks Ryan S. !! He was professional, informative and truly went about and beyond to make our experience amazing ! Russell of course, put a great spin on the evening with his ambiance and 1st class service ! Food was amazing as usual ,and they surprised us with a chocolate covered strawberry dessert ! Recently stayed here. Food was awesome and the room was clean. Was not happy being awoke at 5am by employees outside of our window washing some type of pans or something with a hose and the noise was horrendous and went on for almost an hour! This area was where the dumpster and trash compactors are located along with some employee type benches. This was my first time there, and not my last. The service was outstanding!! The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming! The food was out of this world!!! Mr Salvator is such a nice man, I got to meet him personally and let him know about my first time. I will go back!!
