The idea for Ruby’s Diner was born in 1980 after a run on the beach. Doug Cavanaugh had just returned to his native Southern California after successfully restoring and running a restaurant on Nantucket Island off Cape Cod. We've eaten allot less beef burgers over the last 3 years due to health issues. I must say though that Ruby's diner does not disappoint...been at the HB pier location 4 times over the last 2 years and each time it's been superb all the way around � Keep up the great work!
Service was fine but food was cold when we got it....
Was amazing. We were seated upstairs right away. The view was breathtaking, the bacon cheese burger was the best I've ever had and the staff is super friendly. The service was truly on point. Was the perfect end to a perfect day.

A friend and I had brunch New Year's Day, we stepped right up to the bar ordered, our shake , Water and coffee came right away, our food was up with in 15 minutes as busy as they were, and we enjoyed everything we got as well as the smiles of the servers! Thank you Ruby's staff and cooks!
Service took awhile but everything was amazing!!!!!
We really enjoyed the food and service, but we were there after the lunch crowd and before the sunset watchers.
