The idea for Ruby’s Diner was born in 1980 after a run on the beach. Doug Cavanaugh had just returned to his native Southern California after successfully restoring and running a restaurant on Nantucket Island off Cape Cod. Stephanie went out of her way to accommodate us being our first meal out after wisdom tooth removal a week ago. The shakes were great and the soup hot the spot.
Super cute but pretty busy. Our waitress was really nice! Great food :)
