Was in their for my broken back.....they treated me very well great doctors and nurses....even the ER treated me like a important person, and I'am just as a common as a old shoe,not any better than anyone else...yet they made feel special. God Bless Them!

Unfortunately, you cannot be a jack of all trades. Patients now suffer as WVU Medicine rapidly expands and unqualified doctors and nurses are hired. Skilled professionals are overworked and the doctor to patient ratio is unacceptably high. Save your own life and make the trip to UPMC in Pittsburgh.
I have spent hours in the last few months sitting in front of the hospital waiting for someone to be released. Each time the person was discharged and told to call someone to pick them up and each time I arrived we have waited an hour or more for IVs to be removed and wheelchairs retrieved. This is absurd.
it was good on the children side of hospital but its awful about the parking with the handicap not enough place. but other than that they were awesome with the grandbaby!!
