I visited a friend there last Saturday and the place was filthy! This is suppose one of the best hospitals so why would it want to promote germs by having HUGE dust balls beneath the furniture in the main entrance, family waiting areas, elevators and restrooms??? A friend of mine had her own Lysol wipes to use when her father was in MICU! Really??? Disgusting! Filthy!
RecommendedIN 2009 I had a coiling procedure for my 2nd brain aneurysms, I received excellent care from both the surgeon who was there Dr.Ansar Ry and many wonderful Nurses, radiologists, volunteers etc. State of the art technology! Last but not least, Ruby Memorial is across the parking lot from Mountaineer Stadium! LOVE MY Mountaineers!
I had a severe head surgery done, due to having a cyst on my spinal cord. Doctor volker did amazing. I had to stay 5 nights and they made me feel as comfortable as I could. I slept most of it but the nurses cane in plenty of times to check on me. They truly care and you can tell.
My daughter was admitted to the pediatric unit this past week. I cannot believe the amazing level of care she received. The staff was incredible. I never expected the Child Life portion of her care with activities, coaching for medications, and the toys! We had nothing with us, as she was admitted via an ER in another part of the state. They kept her busy, entertained, and encouraged to cooperate. They also worked with her incredible doctors and nurses to help devise a reward plan for taking yucky medicine. I have to brag on this hospital for a minute. since we have been here, they have done their absolute best to keep my daughter as comfortable as possible & they have been in and out bringing her toys just to keep her calm & happy. they gave her all the toys & books pictured & also the two blankets that she is covered up with. her nurses have been nothing but nice & sweet to us & continue to do so! ❤️ i’m completely astounded and impressed with how great she is being treated while we are here! so to all of leaciann’s nurses an... read more
My daughter checked herself into the hospital at 10:30 this morning. It is now after midnight. 14 hrs later and not a single issue has been resolved. I have never experienced anything like this before in my entire life. Do not bring your loved ones to this hospital. Such a sad, sad situation.
My mother in law had amazing care from the 9th floor doctors and nurses! Thank you
You can not get any answers from doctors or departments. They tell you that you have to have a certain test done in the a.m and two days later it’s still not done. The doctor won’t return Paige’s and the dialysis center won’t do it either.
