Due to error with ***** repairman working on our refrigerator, waterline got disconnected and flooded our flooring. ***** repairman called Roto Rooter since we didn't have a plumber to call immediately. They came and repaired waterline, and ran equipment to dehumidify floor that got flooded. Well this took 4-days. Used them to come out to my residence for a plumbing issue. The service tech came out and notated that nothing was wrong with my drain even though water came out from everywhere. I stated that I had once of their techs remove roots from my drain line 5 months earlier but he did not further checks. 1 week goes by and sewage begins erupting from my drain line, causing a huge mess in my basement. On Sept 29, 2020 I called Roto-Rooter to get a quote on how much it would cost for Roto-Rooter to replace the cartridge in the valve body of my ***** shower faucet. Roto-Rooter told me that it charges over $75 just for the visit to my home, and when their plumber arrives at my home, only their plumber can tell me how much the plumbing work will cost. This was a very poor experience. I made an appointment and there was a no-call/no-show. I made a second appointment and that one was also a no-call/no-show. I was going to cancel outright and go with another plumber, but the dispatcher I spoke with was very apologetic, told me she'd spoken with the manager, and they were going to waive the service call fee and do a free crawl space inspection. They used to be a fine service, but now, they charge ridiculous prices and don't back up their work. They replumbed my kitchen sink two years ago and now, the PVC regularly comes apart during dish cleaning. I asked for a make-good and was ignored. Do yourself a favor. Find a small local company. These guys are bandits.

There were many things that went wrong with this experience, but the most ridiculous one was them trying to scam us out of nearly $10,000. This isn’t an exaggeration. We were experiencing an overflowing pipe in the basement. Visit 1 - The plumber arrived and determined it was the main drain pipe. They took a while looking outside to see if they could access the pipe, and ended up pulling off the toilet instead. Pelham, AL - Round 2. I had used them last September to repair a hot distribution line that required exscavasation. It took for months for me to get an itemized receipt from and when finally received, I realized they overcharged me and was due a refund. I had another leak in the same area as before so I called them back under their 3 year guarantee as list on my paperwork. This company has terrible customer service. They have zero concern or respect for the customer's time and they are inefficient when scheduling services. I had them install a hot water heater, expansion tank and drip pan. I was told they would show up at 9 a.m. and when the technician did not arrive, I called the dispatch and was told no they will be there between 8 a.m. and 12 pm. Terrible service from Roto Rooter in Fayetteville NC! We own rental properties and have used them several times in different locations, so I was shocked, but I want to make it known what they did. Our tenant called and said there was running water in the sunroom, it started suddenly and they were having a flood. Called Roto Rooter and told them please turn the water off at the property to stop the flooding because the tenants didn’t know how.
