Root Rooter replaced a flexible hose connection for a bathroom faucet. He was here about 40 minutes, and charged $370 plus parts and taxes. (Total $450). After turning the water back on, there was another minor, unrelated problem that he said he could fix - for another $185! I said no, and fixed it myself in 10 minutes after he left. No stars! This is gouging!

Mike came to our house on Sunday for total sewer blockage while we had 6 house guests. We were stressed! He remained pleasant and courteous and did a great job!! Thanks Mike! ****************

Terrible business with dishonest practices. Had them come to fix a clogged sewer line. A guy came and he struggled to get the machine to clean outlet drain. A short while later, the water was slowly draining and he claimed it was all clear. A second technician came to recheck the line 48 hours later and indicated the clog was still there and water was already beginning to back up. How can this be? What a joke! What a scam! I called Roto Rooter and the tech "came by" to check my water heater. He shined the flash light and that was it! I let him know that I tried to lit the pilot but I didn't quite understand the instructions on the tank, so could he try? NOPE! Here comes the sales pitch....it's old and will cost almost $950.00 plus my labor fees...it needs to be replced and even if you found parts...it will cost about the same...blah, blah, blah.....I signed the paperwork stating he gave me a qoute and "came by". Inexcusable, inefficient and lack of communication by Project Manager, Melvin D. was experienced by my insurance adjuster and myself throughout this entire project. Melvin met with the insurance adjuster on December 18, 2019 and at that time was asked to submit an estimated cost of remediation. NO estimate or any other communication or information/photos were supplied to the adjuster until the afternoon of January 3, 2020. This is the worst company ever. Is it possible to give a negative number of stars? Anyway, one guy came to my home the first time and changed the hardware in my bathtub. It worked fine for about a year. Recently, when the converter for the shower malfunctioned, I called again. The next plumber looked at it claiming there was nothing wrong with it.
