TLDR: roto rooter is a money hungry piece of ****company that will do anything and everything possible at the expense of the customer to get some extra bucks.After having sewage water backflow through our pipes and completely wreck our basement, we did what most people would do and looked up companies to come out and help us out. They are predators. I paid then $150 to clean main line and when that did not help they told me I needed to pay an additional $630 to remove the toilet and clean that line. Then the told me that I needed to pay an additional $4400 because there were roots in the line and it needed to be replaced. They told me that they could not clear the roots because that would cause the pipe to collapse and if the roots are not cleared I could not flush toilet paper. My shower head was leaking. I called on Thursday last week. The plumber came 2 hours after my call. He cut the water, took out 1 s**** of the shower faucet, told me the cartridge needed replacing, check on his **** he didn't have the right part, went to buy a part, pushed the new cartridge in, replaced the screw, unscrewed the shower head to flushed out debris, screwed showerhead back. Recently schedule with Roto - Rooter to unclogged my interior drainage technician come right on lime and took 20 minutes to unclogged. However, they charge me $254 for 20 minutes. So very carefully use this company for service. I am done with them and never used them again. Very expensive not make sense to charge that much money for the 20 minutes to do the snake only. ******

I was ripped off by the tech. When I called him out on it he admitted that he ripped me off, the GM Rick promised me a full refund and I have yet to receive my money back as promised. They double charged me and he was ok doing that to me. How many people has this company done this to?

Chris #** did a phenomenal job on my sewage pump today which is in a tight location to work in. He exceeded my expectations and I found him honest, reliable, and a hard worker. I will be calling for him specifically for any of my plumbing needs moving forward. Thank you Chris!

My experience with Root-Rooter has been horrible from the start and it is not even close to finished. My husband and I are both retired disable veterans older couple with 2 of my grandchildren living in our household. Root-Rooter came to our house for the first time on Sept 4, 2021, for leaky pipes and Sept 8, 2021, for snake line, which caused more harm than good. Big company = poor service and high price. We called them to fix a very simple issue: a leak in our bath faucet. A technican came, left to buy a cartridge at Home Gepot and came back with the wrong part. He gave us an estimate of $350 to fix the issue and asked for a payment of $125 that would be deducted from the repair. He said he would buy the part and give us a call.
