I had rotor rooter install my water heater about 4 years ago I came home a month ago and it was split and spraying water everywhere I called and finally got a plumber a week later out he said it's under warranty call OA-***** and they will ship you a water heater then call me I'll come out and install free of charge. This company has no credit. I made an appointment with them to resolve a problem with leaking from white pipe connections underneath the kitchen sink. The appointment was set for 9am to 1pm, nobody showed up, no phone call, no text message, no sorry, no mercy.I called several times and the representatives are always trying to find excuses, no apology or sorry. I was told by both the plumber and the project manager that Roto Rooter would send to my insurance company the charge for leak detection. I asked multiple times what I needed to do as well. Needless to say - they did not and i was stuck with a 500 that bill was indeed covered by my insurance. Their customer service and communication lack professionalism and accuracy. Will not use this company again

Was greatly over charged. Called Roto Rooter and was told a partial refund would be given. After several weeks I called again and was told that no refund was processed. They will check into it again.

On 8/13/21 Roto-Rooter came to my house and provided a $600.00 estimate to repair a leaking toilet and a leaking outdoor faucet. The estimate was predicated on the fact that he didn't exactly know where the leaks were so he suggested he remove the toilet to find the leak. The wax gasket was found to be the source of the leak and a rebuilt hose bib was needed for the outdoor faucet. Both issues were minor and took less than 2 hours of work. The final bill was $66.89 in parts and $534.50 in labor. That equates to $267.25 per l... read more

***** Buyer Beware *****Please if you value your money / time / peace of mind do not use these people and get a second opinion . They will disappoint you. They overcharged me for work not done, promise to do" Make it right by you " and months later after calls to their local office, office manager, general manager, and emails with pictures and calls to corporate, they continue to hide and not respond . I am a long-time Roto-Rooter customer (more than 25 years). Up until now that has only been for plumbing problems. But this time it was for a leak and I needed water mitigation. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had from a national company (understanding that I've working with the local branch). I would ask for documentation for the insurance company repeatedly but never would get it. I finally called the main office and told the manager how many times I had asked for the documents. How this company is still in business is absolutely amazing. They came out, charged us $713 (which was the lowest of options) to snake our sewer drain. Of course, 55ft deep, they ran into a problem. The field supervisor came out, ran his camera through the line and showed me a break in the **** piping (I have no idea what Im looking at through a grainy black and white image, but ok, I believe you). We had a backup which they tried to snake. They couldnt get the clog out so they had to bring in the pressure washer to flush it out since its stronger. They told us we had a 15ft crack in our sewer line and said it would need replaced since that was the root cause of our backup (Which we planned to do in the fall when its cooler out). They cleared the clog and said we had a 6 month warranty on that 1k dollar clean out so I felt ok about waiting it out.
