Used Roto-Rooter in **********, ******** to snake out a pipe from our sink to the waste pipe in our upstairs guest bathroom. The contractor told us it needed to be snaked before he put in a new sink.RR of ********** wanted to charge $500, then agreed to $400. Call to unclog kitchen sink, was charged $355. After the job was completed, had leakage in line. Leakage was caused by work Roto-Rooter did to unclog the line per second Plumbing company called to repair, after calling Roto-Rooter back to repair their damage they caused, they wanted to charge another $330 plus hourly rate to repair. After I disagree to the price, they billed me for a 5 minute job to open up and see where the leak was. Price gauging at it BEST!!PS - Cost to repair by the other company -$175. We called Roto Rooter slow draining and a weird sound when our bathroom drain was draining.Roto Rooters charged an absurd amount of money, while they were working on the drain they pulled something that out that they were not supposed to and water started pouring from our kitchen ceiling. We never had water issues from our kitchen ceiling prior. They told me they fixed the drain and went on their way.The drain as not fixed. i called roto rooter in **********,**** told them i had a leak at my well pump.they stated they could come out if i paid 50 dollars on my credit card to cover the first inspection. i agreed. the gentleman arrived at a rough pre determined time he located and fixed the problem in a little less than 1 hour,,he then informed me the repair would cost 565..dollars......i told him that was highway robbery .he went into a long story about they ran a business and their was lot of expense including his VACATION PAY!!!!! so on top of ... read more

Terrible *******************. We called them for a leaky toilet. They diagnosed it as a faulty flapper. Replaced the flapper but when we went to use the toilet water gushed out of base of bowl all over ** floor?? We tried to resolve with local manager who was disinterested in reviewing their techs work. So they left us with a big ****, non-operating toilet and an unyielding motivation to warn others regarding **********************.

Called for a back-up kitchen sink. **** took exactly 46 minutes including getting tools out of van and putting tools back in van. Charge $472. That is $615.65 per hour for one person. Even my best lawyers do not charge this exorbitant amount of money per hour. Will never call them again.

In April shortly after my husband suddenly passed away, our sewer line blew. I called ********************** not realizing that I had a ********* policy for this. In their contract it says no landscaping. They left my yard a mess. One huge pile of dirt and rocks across the the lawn, from the road to the house. Beware of these professional scammers! I called for a plumber another person showed up which I thought was the plumber and he was from their water restoration team that I wasnt aware of coming out. They never communicated with me about their water restoration team coming out besides the plumber!!!! Roto Rooter charged exorbitant prices while providing me with poor diagnostic services. My house flooded three times this year. Roto Rooter misdiagnosed the problem and refused to take responsibility for their negligence. As a result, I spent thousands of dollars unnecessarily. I spent six months in a hotel awaiting home renovation completion because of Roto Rooters negligence.
