Then part way into that time, you will get a phone call saying that they are running behind, because of some made up reason. I was in a bind and in that panic mode I called them as they were one of the first companies that popped up. We had a clog in our sewer main at 10 pm so they were the only people available to come out. After unclogging the pipe, they put a camera in to inspect. They told us the Sewer main was collapsed right at the foundation and we'd have to fix it immediately, for a total cost of $13,000. We chose to get other opinions. We had another plumber come and remove the pipe plug to see directly down the pipe, it was not broken or impeded in any way. THEY LIED ABOUT THE WHOLE THING - DO NOT USE THEM OR BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY

We have had the worst experience with this company. They “fixed” and issue 5 months ago and it happened again and even though they warranty the job for 6 months they are not taking responsibility now. It’s going to cost more to mitigate the damage this time.

Working with Roto-Rooter has one of the worst experience of my life. I spent over $4,500 for them to fix my lift station's grinder pump. After purchasing two grinder pumps plus their service fee, the grinder pump keeps failing. During their last visit they revoked my service warranty instead owning that the solution (i.e., new pumps and services) they prescribed and I paid for doesn't work.

I had Roto router come out and look at my Underground drainage for my gutter. They said it would need to be Hydro jetted and they would do a camera inspection before and it would completely fix the problem because it was overflowing every time it rained. I came over with a Hydro jet did it left a complete mess And forgot to do the camera system to show me what the issue was. It was a 5 foot section of pipe they did this to. Terrible customer service and were over 5 hours late! Had to call multiple times to ask for an ETA which kept being pushed back and at one point someone accidentally canceled our appointment. During each call, Customer Service would transfer me to multiple (and incorrect) departments and no one could answer my questions. When I finally asked to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold for 15 minutes, told the supervisor was busy and would call me back within 5 minutes, and never received a call. We had sewage in our bathtub due to a blockage in our sewer line. Our wonderful useless warrenty company never contacted us back to have a plumber come out and assist us. So, we called our only option “Roto-Rooter” our appointment was in between 6-8 PM, the plumber didn’t arrive until well after 8:00 pm. Forgot to mention we only have ONE bathroom. Scam!!! I called them because my pilot light kept going out. A man came tried twice to light it and said I needed a new water heater. Was not even at my house 5 minutes!! I called another company to get a second opinion and they cleaned my water heater and now it works fine. Roto tried to charge me $2300 for a new heater!

Scheduled an appointment through their website for them to come out to a commercial property to fixed backed up sewage. I then received an appointment confirmation email stating that a technician would be out in between 4pm and 6pm. I live 30mins away from my shop so I went to the shop at 4pm just in case the technician came at 4pm. I waited at my shop til 6:15pm(2hours). I gave up and went back home.
