Most patients I see do NOT require surgery and can be cured with simple measures. I employ a team of nurses and cetified hand therapists all of whom share the goal of obtaining the best outcome we can, and returning our patients to work and play effectively and quickly

Dr. Bernstein was a warm, caring, and attentive physician. He took the time to explain every aspect of treatment for my broken finger and followed up with me each month. My finger made a complete recovery due to the expertise and total professionalism of Dr. Bernstein. I would more than highly recommend him!! He is awesome!
My experience with Dr. Bernstein was nothing short of miraculous. He surgically repaired a broken wrist, removed the cast in SIX days and I am literally back to normal in less than three months. The staff was great and highly professional. Would highly recommend.
Today I had an appointment with Doctor Bernstein, upon arrival the receptionist was professional and kind, my appointment time was exactly as scheduled, Dr. Bernstein an for his staff were thorough, professional and attentive. I strongly recommend the Connecticut Orthopedic Group.
Dr. Bernstein operated on my left hand for carpel tunnel and considerable weakness in my thumb and fingers. Dr. Bernstein explained the procedure he was about to perform very thoroughly and thoughtfully. The operation was without incident and my recovery was smooth and is continuing. His follow-up after the operation is still ongoing. He is an excellent surgeon and I enthusiastically recommend him to anyone with a hand problem!
The staff and doctor were polite and friendly. I was nervous and they put me at ease answering all of my questions in a non-judgmental manner. I am now looking forward to a full recovery.
The appointment was on time and an assessment was done. Xrays and ultrasound were performed. Diagnosis confirmed and appointment made for correction of my problem
I have seen Dr. Bernstein for two trigger thumbs over a period of time, one resulting in surgery. He is very nice and compassionate, explains things thoroughly and answers all questions. My surgery went well, the staff is very efficient. I highly recommend him.
