Dr. Irving replaced both my knees. My left knee is wonderful. I wish I had done it sooner. My right knee is still too new to say, but the surgery went well. I am recovering nicely and doing the work.
Jennifer is awesome! Dr. Girasole made me feel very confident in my surgery and knowing he and Dr. Russo will be working together relieves my mind tremendously. I'm very happy with my decision to have the surgery. The overall attitude of the entire staff.

I had a very uncomfortable experience at my first appointment with Dr. Bernstein and his staff. I had asked for a note in the medical history about my ability of not being able to travel due to my injuries; I needed it to request refunds for upcoming travel, which they said they could accommodate. I had a laminectomy at another hospital. My pre op instructions were be here at 8 and my discharge instructions were to walk. I wanted more when it turned out I needed two new hips. An extensive search led me to Dr John Irving. I had the first hip done early December and the second will be done tomorrow. The amount of pre-op attention requiring on-line or in person information on everything from how to prepare, what to expect, and post op care was thorough and extensive. Very knowledgeable. Surgery went very well along with PT. Dr. Bernstein is an outstanding doctor and surgeon. I highly recommend him.
Dr.G is my hero!. He performed two spinal surgeries, along with Dr. Mintz, and gave me back my life! For almost 3 years I could hardly walk due to the severity of the pain. I cannot stress enough how wonderful this man is! He truly is a caring, knowledgeable surgeon and I would trust him with my life anytime.
