The most important aspect of treating disorders of the hand and upper extremity is making an accurate diagnosis and then instituting the most conservative, least invasive and effective treatment algorithm. Most patients I see do NOT require surgery and can be cured with simple measures. I employ a team of nurses and cetified hand therapists all of whom share the goal of obtaining the best outcome we can, and returning our patients to work and play effectively and quickly

As a member of the medical profession, my standards of receiving care can be quite high. I found Dr. Bernstein and his team to be skilled, knowledgeable, caring and efficient. My pre-op, peri-op and post-op experiences were excellent, including office visits. It is a busy practice, so time spent with Dr. Bernstein is at a premium, but we managed to discuss all we needed to and I was always able to give my observations and get my questions answered. Highly recommend!
Wonderful visit. I was in and out in a half hour with X-rays and ultrasound cortisone shot! Everyone was fantastic!
Dr. Bernstein's entire crew was top notch. From interview through xray through discussion of options to injection, everything was perfectly organized and went quickly.
Understanding, skillful physician
I have been to this office on a couple of different occasions for other problems and have had excellent care. I would highly recommend this practice to others! I have also been to 2 different offices and found them easy to navigate.
I went to see Dr. Bernstein after I suffered a Distal tendon rupture. I was in tremendous pain and Dr. B and his staff diagnosed my issue very quickly. It’s been almost a year since my surgery and I just had my last follow up visit. The staff made the process seamless and my arm is better than its every been. I would highly recommend Dr. Bernstein for any surgery having to do with the Arm!
I was suffering with left hand Carpal Tunnel. My left hand was numb for a good part of the day. I would drop things. I couldn't hold my phone or anything else for that matter. The hand would become numb & then painful. At night I would wake up every 2 hours with a numb & painful hand. Dr. Bernstein performed surgery & now my left hand is good as new. I call him "The Miracle Worker!" Thank you Dr. Bernstein!!!!!!
I saw Dr. Bernstein for 2 issues. First an arthritic thumb which required surgery. He took the time to evaluate everything, explained my options. Was attentive and thorough. Did the surgery and all the follow ups. Was a great experience overall (if you consider needing surgery a great experience). Also saw him for a sore shoulder. That one only needed physical therapy and some medication. Very pleased with both outcomes.
Yes, Dr. Bernstein is the best!! I had a very serious hand/ wrist injury and he did an incredible job putting all the pieces back together. Dr. Bernstein is caring, good listener, and gentle with your hand. 5 stars for me
