Dr. Richard Bernstein is an excellent physician. He is extremely thorough and patient centered. Most important, he listened, and we decided together the treatment plan that was best for me. I am very pleased with the results of my treatment. I would highly recommend him to those in need of his care.
Level of professionalism and care in all three offices is high and consistent. Dr. Bernstein takes time to listen to my "complaint(s)" and opinions, assess the problem, and thoroughly explain treatment options as well as his recommendation for resolving the problem. His conservative approach, with possible surgery as last option, is much appreciated.
Dr. Bernstein operated on my trigger thumb. The procedure, for which I was wide awake, was completely successful. 6 weeks after I was 100% with no discomfort and no discernible scar from the incision. In addition to his technical skills, Dr. Bernstein is compassionate, personable and professional. I am quite comfortable giving him my highest recommendation.

On 4-8-19 I was seen by Dr Bernstein I got there with a lot of pain in my left hand he injected A Cortizone shot and I can honestly say the light stay off a whole lot better thank you Dr. Bernstein
One visist to the Branford office. The professional and health care staff were very efficient and quick. The diagnosis and small procedure, was clearly explained and quickly perfomed. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Bernstein's practice.
Dr. Bernstein has proformed surgeries on both of my hands. He is great at explaining what the issues are and what alternatives are available. He has wonderful bedside manners, and a great sense of humor to put you at ease while at the same time remaining very professional. Dr. Bernstein has treated carpal tunnel in both hands with skillfull surgeries. He has also treated trigger finger in each hand. His staff is caring and efficient in all aspect of care.
