We had 6 double windows, 1 triple window, and 3 single windows installed 10 years ago. At the time of installation, there were concerns that I had, which I documented and shared with Andersen Corporate. Fast forward to now. We decided to replace some siding at the front of our home for the sole purpose of updating the style. We reviewed the original installation packet and the details with the homeowner. The exterior wood trim was installed by RBA and capped in WH PVC.The homeowner had their contractor remove the capping which revealed this water damage.From the photos, we can see that water was entering at the corner of the j-channel in the upper corners as well as at a break in the caulk along the capping of the bottom.There is no water damage or leaks entering the interior of the home.3/10/2023 - The homeowner was advised that this service wo... read more
