Do not shop at this store. I spent more than $30,000 on new furniture. They gave me the wrong estimated delivery dates multiple times. The delivery service is just awful. They delivered the wrong items, ordered the wrong replacement items. 3 pieces of furniture delivered to us damaged. I asked about the remaining items and got sent to about 20 different representatives. Some of them are not helpful at all. I purchased a bed from West Elm on 09/22/2021 which was delivered on 10/08/2021, on the arrival the bed headboard was damaged but as I was moving in and had no bed, the delivery guy told me to receive it and someone from customer service would call me to arrange the replacement. They did call and arranged the new bed delivery and damaged bed removal with a promise that the new delivery date would be between 10/19/21 and 11/02/21 and that's when my problems started. I purchased a item 12/18/21 and still as of 2/24/22 have not received the items that I thought I was ordering in enough time to receive for a wedding gift 2/26/22, now another delay received stating the new estimated delivery date is between 3/2/22 - 3/12/22, I'm so disappointed..even though I like the merchandise the merchant carries the "customer service delivery" practices are horrible, and this is not because of the pandemic, this has happen several times to me in the last (5) years, I'm done with Williams Sonoma in refe... read more

I not so recently ordered a glider from Pottery Barn. Had a tough (very very bad) experience with the ** team and found this email address so thought I would pass along the experience.To start, I was quoted a 2 month lead time on the item, which turned into a 5 month lead time. I was not communicated with on the delays outside of an email around the time when it was initially supposed to be delivered. I ordered a Duvet from Pottery Barn and found out that it is coming from ***** and wont be to me before May 3rd, 2022 so I called them to cancel and they refuse. They said that they have to wait ten days to see if it has left the facility which is BS because if you look up my tracking order it clearly states that it has not left the facility and why would it have with a May 3rd ship date? I'm not sure where to begin with my experience with West Elm. I ordered multiple pieces of furniture on 9/6/21 and as of today (2/19/22) I'm still trying to get the problems resolved. Numerous calls to customer service - 20+ calls/emails per the transaction history log I had to create to track all of the issues, no exaggeration - have resulted in conflicting status, failure to follow up on commitments and so much misinformation it would be laughable if it weren't related to thousands of dollars of product. We purchased $9,000 of furniture from West Elm in *** (UWS) in October 2021. Despite multiple delays, we hung in there and did not cancel the order. On 2/4/22 we finally received some of the items. 2 dressers , 1 chair and what were supposed to be 2 beds. Only one arrived and just the headboard of the other - no frame. I purchased as a guest just prior to Christmas, trying to avoid being subscribed to mailing lists. Unable to complete my order without an email address, I used one I could track as to sender/usage.Williams-Sonoma is now sending no less than 3-4 emails EVERY DAY as tracked by my service provider spam catcher, despite multiple requests to be unsubscribed having been acknowledged, with empty promise.This is against their own policy, and when multiplied by the magnitude of affected users is a ridiculous waste of internet, energy... read more

I ordered a few large pieces of furniture and have been given a runaround in regards to delivery etc....not only would they not tell me about my product delivery timeframe the supervisor was extremely rude and wouldn't cancel the order with our me paying a restocking fee for something that's sitting on a ship in a container. I asked to speak with another supervisor and he told me to call back. I have ordered from pottery barn for years and never had such rude behavior from customer service before.
