I've been a Williams Sonoma family of brands customer for two decades, but their decline in quality and customer service has been steep. Buyer Beware!! I ordered 2 items early December, 2021. Both were a problem!One item was due to be delivered in early February. Then in May, now end July - 6 months after their agreed delivery date and 8 months after purchase. I have spent over 2 hours on hold each time I try to talk to customer service. I ordered two bistro chairs online in March 2022. They arrived April 16, but one was damaged and had to be reordered. The replacement arrived today, May 20, but it was also unacceptable, with a split through the wood frame at the back of the seat. Really bad quality control, and a lot of frustration that after two months I still don't have the chairs I paid for.Side note: Williams-Sonoma's customer service area on the website has instructions for leaving reviews, but the process has been disabled. Wonder why?!
i placed an order for an anton ****** took 4 delivery and end up i was told its lost! First delivery: got a call one day before the delivery day stating the table is not delivering 3 months from the day. OK fine, i went to ikea and got a table to use, then a month later, i got a call stating the table is ready for delivery, on the day of delivery, i got a call from the driver saying he only has the top, so we went ahead and reschedule for a third try, and this time they come with just the bottom..... and i called for the 4th... read more
WOW, I TRULY CAN'T BELIEVE THIS COMPANY AND THE WAY THEY HANDLE THEIR BUSINESS. I HAVE BEEN ON THE ***** FOR OVER 2 HOURS TRYING TO GET MY RETURNED HANDLED. WORST COMPANY - these people should not be in business! Came on here and suddenly feel like we're not alone. Ordered a table back at the start of January that was supposed to be delivered the end of January. Didn't happen. Finally it got scheduled for March 11th. My husband took the day off work and we get a text that morning that they couldn't find a piece of it and would find it within a few days. That never happened. We're now Mid-May and still no table. Allow orders to be placed when they're not in stock, and won't be for months. Terrible! Can't believe they're in business.
Bought kitchen aid artisan stand mixer from *********** store for my mom for Christmas. Mom lives in different part of state and doesn't drive. She used mixer once and then it didn't work anymore. In meantime our location closed. By time I could arrange to go drive out of town to pick up mixer and then arrange to drive to a different part of state in extreme opposite direction to the only remaining store in state, the 30 day return policy had expired. Buyer beware, cancellations of orders are not allowed. **************** is in place only to keep an order in play. Create complications and hardship for customer. I placed an order on some lightbulbs, nothing extravagant, in stock item and had to cancel because was told that shipping could take up to **** business days for in stock items. *************** or clarifying that it could ship any quicker.
