Placed order for sofa 2/28/22 for a delivery 6/1-7/1. Informed my credit card would be charged late May when item shipped. Placed an order from Pottery Barn in February for expected delivery in late May. Outside date on the delivery goes by with nary a word from PB. I try to find out what's going on and, after about 6 calls and 2 weeks, am told that the item is in the US, through customs, and ready to be delivered to the distribution facility where it will then be sent to us by June 24th. Don't order from Pottery Barn! Three week lead time turned into over 5 months. Billed us for the full amount when the product was not shipped yet. Refuses to acknowledge our many requests to cancel. Refuses to issue a refund.
Awful customer service and terrible products! We spent almost $1k on bedding with them, and my pillow clumped within months and our duvet insert fell apart in a year. It just sits on the bed and was well cared for. We took it to the store and showed them and they turned us away. So we called customer service and they said they would not replace it after 30 days. You would think spending $400 on a bed insert thinking it would last a long time, they would honor their product. Will never buy again from them.
Well, shame on me for not reading these reviews prior to my large purchase with Pottery Barn. Long story short. Sold home and furniture, bought home, purchased thousands of dollars in furniture from PB to fill said home. Promised by associate it would all be "while glove delivered" in less than a month or by close of home purchase. I have ordered a furniture from Pottery Barn in December 2021 to be delivered between end of May and early June 2022. Called in May and they said it was being shipped. Called again when it did not get on time in early June and they said they had supply chain issued but it was getting produced and it would get delivered by end of June. Horrible customer service. I have waited 16 months for an item to be shipped to be. They continue to claim the shipping depot in my state misplaces the item and they ship another one. When I call pottery barn I wait on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes to talk to a representative and then another 20 minutes to speak to a manager. I have ordered from pottery barn many times in the past and they have had issues on all but one of my orders.
