I needed triple abdominal hernia surgery…I ask my Cardiologist for a recommendation. He said”if I or a member of my family required general surgery Dr. Sheppard would be my choice!” I set up an appointment to consult with Dr. Sheppard, he examined me and layed out his plan to correct my hernia’s. I was a new patient to Dr. Sheppard! I needed a needle biopsy and was referrred by my Family Practioner. He was so personable and kind! He talked me through what needed to happen. I was able to schedule the biopsy quickly. He was reassuring during the procedure as were the staffers at Crestwood Breast Center! I was beyond pleased with Dr. Sheppherd!

Dr. Sheppard is an outstanding surgeon… He is of the highest caliber… Not only is he highly skilled, he is also a faith filled gentleman. My surgery was flawless and my recovery has been also! How blessed we are to have him in our area! Kudos to him for his excellent care! His nurses are amazing also! They are compassionate and communicate!
I couldn’t have been happier, Dr. Sheppard explained what to expect and nothing out of the ordinary happened. The pain level was next to nothing and listened to his recommendations on how to handle it after the surgery and it was spot on. Very happy and would recommend him hands down.
He is very professional and my surgery and recovery went exactly as he described ahead of time. He has a very caring attitude and helped my father eliminate residual pain from a surgery that someone else did.
