I'm extremely pleased with my hernia surgery which Dr. Sheppard performed. During our initial consultation, he explained the details of the surgery and the pre-op and post-op procedures. As a result, my confidence in the success of the surgery increased. On the day of the surgery, he met twice with my wife and me and even said a heart-felt prayer for a successful outcome. I needed triple abdominal hernia surgery…I ask my Cardiologist for a recommendation. He said”if I or a member of my family required general surgery Dr. Sheppard would be my choice!” I set up an appointment to consult with Dr. Sheppard, he examined me and layed out his plan to correct my hernia’s. I was a new patient to Dr. Sheppard! I needed a needle biopsy and was referrred by my Family Practioner. He was so personable and kind! He talked me through what needed to happen. I was able to schedule the biopsy quickly. He was reassuring during the procedure as were the staffers at Crestwood Breast Center! I was beyond pleased with Dr. Sheppherd!
