Dr. Ray Sheppard Jr. Is very knowledgeable, professional, understanding and kind. The moment I met him I knew I was where I needed to be. Office visit, surgery, and follow-up contact with Dr. Sheppard and his staff were professional, prompt, and very helpful in understanding what was happening, how it could be resolved, and what I needed to know and expect after surgery.
Dr. Sheppard is very professional, skilled, efficient and knowledgeable. That is why I selected him for a follow-up appointment, after I had to have emergency surgery when out of town.

The staff was warm and friendly. I had a very short wait time. I was thoughtfully processed with engaged medical staff. Dr. Sheppard spoke to my specific concerns and set a plan to move ahead with treatment in a kind and efficient manner. Checkout was also well managed even in a busy office and my next appointment was graciously and kindly set within a minute or two after leaving the consultation with the Doctor.
He and staff took excellent care of me.
This was my initial visit. It was encouraging as Dr. Sheppard understood the problem and gave clear responses. He was exceptionally professional while keeping the visit comfortable. The action he recommended makes perfect sense.
Hernia repair, well done. Glad I got it done. The whole deal went well and the professionalism and care was apparent. I put the surgery off thinking it was going to be a long recovery, but not the case. It only took a couple of weeks. It's nice not having that dull pain anymore.

I want to say how deeply appreciative I am for Dr. Sheppard's caring and skills at communicating during an urgent health scare. I felt tremendously lucky to have come across him by accidental circumstances. Very professional yet the caring aspects I truly needed while feeling vulnerable and not so safe under care of other doctors not associated with Dr. Sheppard.
