Office staff excellent, almost no wait time; most compassionate physician I have had treatment from. He performed my first hernia surgery in 2003-never have had issue with that one & he performed my second hernia surgery on other side just recently in 2022. My blood pressure was elevated & he, I’m sure, thought I needed extra TLC prior to surgery-he took time to talk with me & said a prayer ( not a short one-a longer one with careful words to give me things to remember in life). I had a serious health problem. Dr. Sheppard ordered some tests for me. This was on Friday. Normally, he would discuss the results with me on Monday. In this case, the test results were known in the afternoon. And Dr. Sheppard, after he finished his busy day, called me (after 5 pm) to discuss the results

I changed from another doctor to Dr Sheppard, I found him from all of the 5 Star reviews, he did not disappoint. He is such a kind man, tells you about the procedure and tells you all the risk associated with it as well, being obese and having heart problems were very concerning to me, I could have had a stroke or a heart attack resulting in death.
